Art for Sale! Cheap! Very Cheap!

Just a reminder: Head over to Kettle Art in Deep Ellum tomorrow night for the opening of their Spring Cleaning show. Kettle owner Frank Campagna tells Unfair Park it’s a great way to get fantastic art for cheap -- which is to say, a “high-quality hodgepodge" at "rock-bottom prices.” The gallery needs to make room for a host of new exhibits, and their loss is your gain.

The opening starts at 7 p.m., and the hodgepodge includes sweet deals on workw from the likes of C. Kirk Smith, Danielle Barry, Mattson Plummer, Christina Phensey and host of others. After the party is the after-party at 9 p.m. at Darkside Lounge, featuring the Kansas City Faggots, Spector 45, Hardin Sweaty & Ready to Go, White Light Fever and the Vibes. “I love every one of them,” Campagna says of the lineup. “They’re true Texas-punk-American-rock.
